Lesson Introduction: The Power of Social Skills

Hook: "The Social Skills Treasure Hunt"

Objective:

To spark interest in the importance of social skills, we will embark on a fun, interactive treasure hunt that highlights different social skills and encourages teamwork.

Introduction:

Attention Class! 🌟

Today, we're going to dive into the exciting world of social skills! But instead of just talking about them, we’re going on a treasure hunt!

What Are Social Skills?

The Treasure Hunt:

    • Use fun and colorful markers to write the social skills on these cards, making them visually appealing!
  2. Instructions:

    • Divide the class into small groups and explain the rules:
      • Each group will get a map (simple layout of the classroom) and clues leading to the hidden cards.
      • When a group finds a card, they must read and discuss the skill and come up with a short skit or demonstration of that skill.
      • After all groups have found their cards and performed their skits, we’ll discuss why each skill is important in our daily lives.

Reflection Time:

After our treasure hunt, we'll gather in a circle to share what we learned about each social skill. Think about:
