Introduction

  1. Find Colors in the Classroom:

    • Look around the room. Can you spot something red? How about something blue, yellow, or green?
    • Point to different objects and say their colors out loud!

  2. Color Guessing Game:

    • I will hide a colorful object in a box. One by one, you will reach in (without looking!) to feel the object.
    • After feeling it, try to guess its color!

  3. Discussion Time:

    • Once we’ve played our games, let’s gather in a circle. What colors did you find? How do colors make you feel?
    • We will share our thoughts, and I’ll write them down on the board.

After our Color Hunt, we will read the classic book "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?" This story is full of colors and animals. Let’s see how many different colors we can spot as we read along together!
