Hello, everyone! Today, we’re going on an exciting adventure into the world of shapes and colors! Are you ready? Let’s put on our explorer hats and get started!
Once upon a time in a magical land called Shape Town, all the shapes lived happily together. There were red circles, blue squares, yellow triangles, and even green rectangles! Each shape had its own special color, and together, they made the town bright and beautiful.
One sunny day, the shapes decided to have a parade! They wanted to show off their colors and shapes to all their friends. But oh no! The colors got mixed up, and the shapes needed our help to get sorted out!
Gather Around: Let’s all sit in a circle. I want everyone to think of their favorite shape. Is it a circle, square, triangle, or rectangle?
Colors Galore: Now, think about what color your shape is! Is it red, blue, yellow, or maybe something else?
Say It Loud: When it’s your turn, stand up and tell us your shape and color. For example, “I am a red circle!” Everyone else can clap and cheer for your shape!
Next, we’re going to go on a shape and color hunt around our classroom!
Look Around: Find one object that matches your favorite shape and color. For instance, a blue square could be a book, or a red circle could be a ball.
Share with Friends: Once everyone has found something, we will share our discoveries! Hold up your object and tell us what shape and color it is.
Create a Shape Chart: Let’s put our findings together on a chart to see how many of each shape and color we found!
Great job today, explorers! You helped the shapes in Shape Town find their colors, and now they can have a fabulous parade! You all did amazing work.
To finish our lesson, let’s sing a fun shape and color song together. Are you ready to sing and dance? Let’s go! 🎶
Remember, shapes and colors are all around us every day. Keep your eyes open and spot them wherever you go! Who knows what you might discover?
