Welcome, young explorers! Today, we are going on a magical adventure through the land of letters! Are you ready to discover the wonderful world of the alphabet? Let's hop aboard our Alphabet Train, where each letter has a special sound and a fantastic story to tell!
Gather Around: Sit in a circle on the carpet, and let’s use our imaginations! Picture a bright, colorful train filled with letters.
Train Choo-Choo Sound: To get started, let’s make the sound of our train! Everyone, on the count of three, let’s say, "Choo-Choo!" together - one, two, three... Choo-Choo!
Introducing the Letters: As we ride the train, we’ll meet different letters one by one. Can you guess what sound each letter makes?
Pass Around the Letter: Bring a soft letter toy (like an "A" or "B") around the circle. When the letter reaches someone, they will say the letter and make its sound. For example, "A says /a/ like in apple!"
Storytime Connection: After each letter’s sound is shared, tell a little story about an animal or character that starts with that letter. For example, "A is for Alligator, who loves to swim in the water."
To end our adventure, let’s all cheer for the amazing letters we met today! Clap your hands and shout, “Yay for letters!”
Today’s journey through the alphabet has only just begun! Remember, every letter has a unique sound and story waiting to be discovered. Keep listening, keep practicing, and soon you’ll be ready to read all on your own!
Let’s get started on our next adventure as we learn about even more letters in our Alphabet Book!
