Today, we are going to explore the magical world of our classroom routines and procedures! Just like superheroes have their secret codes and rules, we have special things that help us learn and play together safely.
To begin our adventure, let’s gather in a big circle on our colorful carpet. This will be our special meeting spot where we can share ideas and stories, just like a wizard sharing spells with friends!
Make a Routine Chain
Each student will take turns sharing one classroom routine or procedure. For example, "We raise our hand to speak!" or "We line up quietly for lunch!" After sharing, the student will pass a soft, squishy ball (or a "magic wand") to the next person to keep the fun going!
Illustration Time
After sharing, each student can draw a picture of their favorite routine. They can show how they raise their hand, wash their hands, or pack their backpack. We’ll hang these up in our classroom to remind us of our important routines!
As we finish our illustrations, we’ll come back together and share our drawings with the class. Each student can explain their illustration and why they think that routine is important for our classroom community.
By the end of our magical morning, we’ll have a treasure trove of classroom routines to help us learn and have fun together! Remember, just like a fairy tale, following our routines helps our classroom be the best place to grow and explore.
Are you ready to embark on this exciting adventure? Let’s make our classroom the most amazing place ever! 🌈✨
