Welcome, Little Artists!
Today, we are going to embark on a super fun adventure all about apples! 🎉 Apples come in many colors and shapes, and they make a delicious snack, but did you know they can also inspire amazing art? Just like the apples in our story, let’s explore how we can use creativity to express ourselves!
To kick off our lesson, let's gather in our cozy reading corner and listen to a catchy story called "The Colorful Apple." This story is about a little apple named Annie who rolled through a magical garden. In this garden, she met friends of different colors and shapes. As we hear about Annie's adventure, I want you to think about the colors and shapes of apples that we can use in our own art!
After our story, we’ll dive into our “Apple Art Adventure”! Here’s what we’re going to do:
Choose Your Apple:
Decide if you want to paint a red, green, or yellow apple! Remember, you can mix colors to create your own unique shade too!
Get Your Supplies Ready:
Visit the art station and gather your materials. Don’t forget your sponges and paper!
Start Painting:
Use your sponge to dab paint on your paper to create your apple. You can even use your fingers to make finger-painted apples!
Add Some Fun:
Once your apple is painted, use glue and glitter to make it sparkle or crayons to add some additional details like a smiley face or leaves.
Sharing Time:
When everyone has finished their artwork, let’s have a little gallery walk! We’ll take turns showing our artwork and tell everyone about what kind of apple we made.
Wasn’t today an apple-solutely amazing adventure? 🍏✨ Not only did we learn about apples and colors, but we also created our very own apple art! Remember, just like Annie, it’s fun to express yourself and share your creativity with others.
Now, who’s ready for a snack of real apples? Let’s stay healthy and keep our creativity flowing!
Thank you for your beautiful artwork today! Can’t wait to see what we create next time!
