To kick off our lesson, let's gather in a circle on the carpet! I have a special Magic Food Box that I filled with fun pictures of different foods.

What’s Inside?

  1. Listen and Guess:

    • I will pick a picture from the box without showing it to you.
    • I will describe the food, and you will have to guess what it is!
    • For example: "This food is yellow and shaped like a crescent. You can eat it for breakfast, and it’s often found in cereal!" (The answer is a banana!)

  2. Talk About Your Favorites:

    • After we guess the food, I'll pass around the pictures so everyone can see them.
    • I want to hear about your favorite food! When it's your turn, you can tell us one food you love and why!
