Your Mission: Work together in teams to solve each math problem, unlock clues, and ultimately find the treasure!

Here's how we start:

1. Gather into Teams: Form small groups of 3-4 explorers.
2. Look at the Treasure Map: On the board, I will display a colorful treasure map with various locations marked by numbers.

The First Puzzle

To begin your adventure, you must solve this problem to determine the first location on the map:

Problem:
The treasure is buried 24 steps from the Old Oak Tree. If you take 8 steps forward and then double that, how many more steps do you need to take to reach the treasure?
