You might be thinking, "Okay, fractions are just parts of a whole. Big deal." But fractions are actually crucial in many areas of life, including cooking, baking, and even building things! Imagine you're a builder and you need to cut a board into 4 equal pieces. You'll need to know how to divide the board into smaller parts, right? That's where fractions come in.
