## Qualifications and Experience

As a Geography graduate with a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), complemented by an MBA, I have amassed considerable teaching experience at the secondary level, focusing on Key Stages 3 and 4. My thorough understanding of the National Curriculum, paired with my ability to design and implement engaging, inclusive lessons, ensures that students are both academically challenged and inspired to investigate the world beyond their immediate surroundings.

I am particularly drawn to Harris Academy Greenwich's steadfast commitment to closing the educational gap and ensuring equal opportunities for all students. This mission resonates powerfully with my personal values and professional philosophy as an educator. 

## Teaching Approach

In my previous roles as an educator, I have successfully demonstrated my ability to:

- Develop and deliver differentiated lesson plans tailored to meet the diverse learning needs of students, including those with special educational needs and higher achievers.
- Utilise innovative teaching strategies, including Information and Communications Technology (ICT) and interactive resources, to foster student engagement and enhance understanding.

- Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and external stakeholders to facilitate student progress and well-being. 

I am particularly impressed by the Harris Federation’s strong emphasis on collaboration, innovation, and professional development. I am eager to contribute to the academy’s culture of excellence while benefiting from the exceptional Continuous Professional Development (CPD) opportunities that are available. My strong organisational skills, adaptability, and dedication to continuous improvement will allow me to thrive as a member of your team.
