Gather around as I tell you a story about a magical forest filled with numbers. In this forest, each number has special powers! For example, the number 1 can make friends with the number 2 to create a new friend called 3. Did you know that in our adventure, 4 loves to dance, and 5 loves to sing? 🎶

The Story

Once upon a time, in a magical forest, lived a Number King named Ten. He had wonderful friends:

• 1 – the Brave
• 2 – the Clever
• 3 – the Happy
• 4 – the Dancer
• 5 – the Singer
• ... and many more!

But one sunny day, the numbers decided to play hide and seek! Can you help them find each other? 🤔

Step 2: The Counting Challenge

After the story, it’s time for a fun counting game! Let’s use our fingers and count how many of our magical friends we can find!

Activity: “Magic Fingers”

1. Show me your fingers! Can everyone hold up one hand? How many fingers do you see? (Count together)
2. Now hold up both hands! How many fingers do you have now? (Count together)
3. Let’s pretend: If we add one more finger from another friend, how many would we have?
