🎉 Introduction

Hello, amazing second graders! Today, we are going to embark on a very special adventure—an adventure to set the rules for our classroom! Just like in a treasure hunt or a game, we need some guidelines to help us have fun while learning together.

🌟 Start with a Spark

Imagine this: You are a brave explorer setting sail on a ship. Before you leave the shore, your captain (that's me!) gathers everyone together to discuss the important rules that will keep our adventure safe and enjoyable.

🎩 Magical Mystery Box

Here's the fun part: I have a Mystery Box hidden away in the corner of the classroom. Inside are some special items that represent our classroom rules. But I won’t tell you what they are just yet!

Your Mission:

1. Let's sit in a circle and discuss what we think the rules of our classroom should be.
2. For each idea you share, I will place an item in the Mystery Box.
3. At the end of our discussion, we will open the box and see if the items match the rules we came up with together!
