Today, we are going to go on a fun adventure to discover something really special in words! Do you know what that is? Drumroll, please… It’s VOWELS!
Vowels are super important letters that help us build words. There are five special vowel friends: A, E, I, O, U. They each have their own sound, and together they make our words come alive!
Get Ready!
Grab a piece of paper and some crayons or markers. We’re going to be on the lookout for things around the classroom or at home that start with a vowel!
Look Around!
Can you find something that starts with A? Maybe an apple or an alligator! How about something that starts with E? Maybe an egg or an elephant?
Draw Your Finds!
Once you spot your treasures, draw them on your paper! Don’t forget to practice writing the vowel that they start with!
